LZHS BEAR BOOSTER CLUB

The Booster Club at Lake Zurich High School consists of 45 parents, Principal Kim Kolze, Assistant Principal Ryan Rubenstein, and Athletic Director Rolly Vazquez. Meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the High School Library. The Board is made up of 7 committees and 4 officers.

The purpose of this group is :

To sponsor and support Bear Booster Club and school activities with financial and volunteer resources.

To promote and boost spirit and pride within our high school.

To encourage attendance and participation at all school affiliated events.

To enhance school affiliated programs and projects with financial assistance

Very simply, our philosophy is to help all groups in the school, not just one team or club. Bear Boosters raises money throughout the year and approves grant requests submitted by teachers, coaches, and sponsors from LZHS organizations.

Board positions include:

Booster Liaison—promotes communication and appreciation with the teachers, staff, and Bear Boosters.
Concessions—runs the indoor concessions stand during volleyball, basketball, wrestling, cheer and pom competitions.
Market Day—works to sell Market Day products to the Lake Zurich community.

Activity Passes—sells Activity Passes for entrance to high school activities.
Newsletter—creates and mails the Booster News to Lake Zurich High School households.
Prom – works with administration to fund coach bus transportation for students to and from the prom event, and organize the pre prom reception for students before they board buses to prom.

School Store—Sells "Bear Wear" such as t-shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, and other items to promote school spirit.
