Mission & Goals

The goal of the Writing Center is to provide Lake Zurich High School students with writing and reading assistance across all subject areas.  Resource personnel, faculty members and peer tutors are available to assist students with various writing projects, including essays and research papers, college application essays, homework assignments, business writing (resumes, letters), speeches, and journalism news articles.  Writing Center staff will also assist with reading comprehension, study skills, and test taking skills.
