Springfield Information, May 12- 13: 

1.       Be at school between 5:30 and 5:45 on Thursday morning.  We will leave promptly at 6:00.  If you are late, we may need to leave without you!

2.       When you get to school, go to the cafetorium.  Find your bus # and see a chaperone for a luggage tag.  Your luggage will be stored below the bus.  Remember to bring a jacket for cool and/or rainy weather.

3.       You should also bring your backpack to keep with you on the bus.  Pack the following items in your backpack:

·         A sack lunch for the first day

·         You may bring other snacks and drinks to have on the bus, but they must have a screw on top.   (NO CANS!!!  NO GUM!!)

4.      Good behavior is expected.  All school rules apply.  If you break the rules, your parents may be called to pick you up….We will not hesitate to enforce this if necessary.

5.       Don’t bring a swimsuit.  We will not be using the hotel pool.

6.       Please don’t wear flip flops or crocs shoes.  We will be doing a lot of walking and these shoes are not safe or comfortable.

7.       Please follow the school dress code during the trip. 

8.       You may want to bring a camera.  Disposable ones are great, and you won’t need to worry about losing them.

9.       Students may not bring DVD players.  Students may bring personal ipods, PSP, and other small electronic games.  Please be aware that lost or stolen items are not the responsibility of the tour company, the school, or the chaperones.     

10.    Don’t bring too much extra money.  $20- 25 is plenty for souvenirs.  All meals will be provided for you except lunch on the first day.  (Don’t forget your sack lunch!)

11.     You may wear headphones on the bus, but they must stay on the bus at the sites we visit.  Also, they must be turned off when chaperones are speaking.

12.     Each bus will be visiting the same sites, but will be on slightly different schedules each day. 

13.   We will be arriving back at school at approximately 4:30 P.M. on Friday.
