Parent Suggestions for Student Success

Make sure your child has a quiet place free from distractions to study and to complete homework.

Check to see that your child's assignment notebook is being filled out correctly, including daily homework and upcoming tests, quizzes, and projects.

Check that your child's work is complete, follows directions, and is neat.

Help your child with study strategies and be sure they they are prepared for quizzes and tests.

Talk to your child about what they are learning in class and how they are progressing.

Communicate with teachers to follow-up on your child's progress.

If your child is part of extra-curricular activities, such as sports teams or clubs, or if they are in band, orchestra, or chorus, help them to manage their commitments to these activities with their homework responsibilities.

Parent Teacher Partnership

Let's work together to make this school a great success. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us via e-mail or phone. We are happy to help and look forward to meeting all of you and working with you this year.
