Classroom Expectations

Welcome to 8th Grade Music!
Over the next twelve weeks, you will use your musical skills to improve your guitar
playing and compose original melodies and scores.  You will also listen to and perform
many styles of American music.

Staff Paper

 

 American Music - Learn about and listen to the blues, jazz, country, rock 'n' roll, and current trends in music.

Treble/Bass Staff

 

 Guitar - Build on your guitar skills; chords, new strums, and tablature.

Note Values
  Composition/Performance - Write and perform original music for the guitar or your choice of instrument(s).
