Middle School North Chorus

District 95

MSN

At Middle School North there are two choruses,  6th grade Surround Sound  and  7th & 8th
g
grade Northern Lights.  The choruses perform in four concerts each year, required for all students.
The District 95 Choral Festival in October, Holiday Concert in December, Winter Concert in March,
the
IGSMA Organization Contest in March (7th/8th grades only), and the Spring Concert in May.
In addition, students may choose to participate in Solo & Ensemble Contest. Other opportunities
may present themselves during the year in which one or both of the choruses participate.

The emphasis in chorus is on the learning process--team building, individual
responsibility to the group, and performance.
