Expectations
for German 2006-2007
Frau
Jill Kragseth
Expectations:
Of course we will follow the school rules
listed in the Middle School North Student Handbook! This year we will also determine
our classroom expectations as a class. The expectations will be posted in the
classroom.
Grades:
All assignments, quizzes, tests, and projects will be given points. All points will count toward your grade based on the following scale (See the school handbook also):
90-100%= A
80-89%= B
70-79%= C
60-69%= D
Things that
are prohibited:
Making fun of others (peers, teachers, etc.) Please treat everyone the way you want to be treated.
Cheating: If you are caught cheating you will call home and explain to your parents what you did. You will receive a 0 for that quiz or test and serve a detention.
Materials:
You need to have a folder and notebook for this class. I highly recommend a 3-ring binder with loose leaf paper.
You will be provided a textbook, Deutsch Aktuell 1.
Please come prepared with a pen or pencil everyday.
Recommended: Pocket German Dictionary. Langenscheidt is an excellent brand.
