Course Outline for ELL, English Language Learners
Students will improve their reading, writing, and vocabulary skills using the SIOP model, that is learning through utilization of big ideas, and learning their literary skills through the content areas. The students will be using our new textbook series by National Geographic, the Inside Series.
ELL ACADEMIC SKILLS CLASS
Each of our student’s has an ELL Resource class where they receive help with their homework, and receive extra time to complete tests. If students do not have homework, they must either read a book, or work on fun learning activities. Periodically, we also participate in fun, group, learning games.
