Brain colors are a fun way to understand yourself. We are introducing our 7th graders to this concept and hoping that they will dive in and take the opportunity to learn how their own personality works with "brain color". This, in turn, will hopefully lend itself to a better understanding of others and how their brains work. Students will learn to work better with groups that are homogeneous as well as heterogeneous.
Check out this slide show that explains what the brain colors are. Slide 4 says "Take the Quiz"...click on that slide to take you to the student quiz.
Students will be using these brain colors in my literature and language arts classes and will learn a lot about each other and how each brain color works. They will not only learn about themselves and the way their brains work; they will learn about how they work best with others.
